Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe Thinks About Giving Her FiancГ© Back the Ring-For All the Right Reasons

Sorry, Bachelor Nation. It sounds like you will have to wait a little longer to see Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth's wedding. After being engaged for three years-and already trying on wedding dresses-Bristowe said they are not any closer to walking down the aisle.

“I feel like we are going backwards!” the 32-year-old told Us Weekly over the weekend at Sterling Vineyards RoséFest. “I feel like we've talked about him re-proposing, because sometimes I don't even want to wear a ring anymore 'cause I want him to have it just so he can surprise me. Because we always talk about him proposing when I'm not expecting it, rather than when I'm on the show where I knew it was coming. So yeah, I've thought about giving the ring back to Shawn so that he could use it to propose when the time comes, and we can start wedding planning when we feel that it's that time.”

Okay, we totally understand wanting to relive the excitement of a proposal, but the fans are getting impatient. To put this in perspective, Booth and Bristowe got engaged on the season 11 finale of The Bachelorette in 2015. It's 2018 and season 14's Bachelorette Becca Kurfin is already engaged. No pressure.

When these two do decide to make it official, a destination wedding might be the winner. Bristowe says they haven't decided on how large or small they want their celebration to be, but they have thought about the location.

“We talk about doing it in Hawaii,” she said. A destination wedding has been on this low-key bride's mind for a while. Back in 2015 when the engagement was fresh, Bristowe told People that's how she has always imagined it.

"I always pictured myself having a destination wedding," Bristowe told the mag. "I am so low-maintenance-I don't want to pick out flowers or colors, I don't care!"

Whether they go with a destination wedding or a Las Vegas elopement or no wedding at all, one thing Bachelor Nation can count on is this couple starting a family.

“We always tell everybody that we talk more about kids and a family than a wedding,” Bristowe told Us Weekly. “We don't know how many, but we know we want them and we know we want them in the next few years.”
