Tia Mowry is now a mom of two!
The actress just gave birth to her second child, a daughter, on Sunday morning. Mowry, 39, shared a sweet photo of herself and her daughter in the delivery room on Instagram earlier today.
"'Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!' Born May 5th at 10:29 am at 6 pounds and 4 Oz 19.8 inches 💕 We are in heaven 🙏🏽" the actress wrote in her caption.
Mowry, who is best known for her role in the TV sitcom Sister, Sister that she starred in with her twin sister Tamera Mowry, is also mother to a six-year-old son, Cree. This is her and her husband Cory Hardict's second child and first daughter together.
Mowry first announced that she was expecting in November 2017. She later revealed the child's gender in January and celebrated a baby shower with family and friends in April.
A few weeks prior to giving birth, Mowry posted a video on Instagram talking about the major differences in her two pregnancies. The actress said that she felt morning sickness throughout her entire first pregnancy, but only experienced nausea in the first trimester of her second pregnancy.
The actress also posted a handful of shots of her baby bump throughout her second pregnancy, showing off her belly in dozens of cute outfits.
The mom of two spoke to Women's Health about her pregnancy earlier this year, saying "I don't think I could have gotten through this process without the support of my husband. "I think it's really important that someone is there encouraging you, rooting you on, saying you're not alone, helping you feel stronger and more powerful."
"I find when you go through some kind of struggle, the reward is just so much greater," she added. "Now, I'm so overjoyed!"
