David Beckham's Tribute to Prince Harry Is the Most-Liked Instagram From the Royal Wedding

If you weren't watching the royal wedding from inside St. George's Chapel or on any of the many live streams being broadcast around the world, there's a good chance you stayed updated on all the major moments of the lavish event via Instagram. You may have double-tapped photos of Meghan Markle's wedding gown's breathtaking train and meaningful veil, a video clip of Prince Harry whispering "I'm so lucky" upon seeing his bride, and compilations of Prince George's and Princess Charlotte's most adorable moments. If so, you weren't alone. According to the social media platform, more than 60 million users around the globe shared, liked, and commented on the more than 1 million posts and 600,000 Instagram Stories tied to the event, Town & Country reports.

Of those hundreds of thousands of posts, one rose to the top as the most-liked of the big day: wedding guest David Beckham's tribute to the groom. "What a proud day for our country today! Watching Harry as happy as he was makes us all proud of the man and person he has always been… what a day!♥️ 🇬🇧🇺🇸" Beckham captioned the three-photo slideshow, which has garnered nearly 3.7 million likes so far. The first photo shows the newly married Duke and Duchess of Sussex holding hands and gazing adoringly at each other; the second is a throwback shot of a mischievous-looking little Harry cuddling a puppy and leaning against older brother Prince William; and the third is another throwback photo, this one of a teenage Harry on a charity trip in Africa.

The second-most-popular royal wedding post goes to Ellen DeGeneres, who was, apparently, in attendance for the day's festivities. "I had a wonderful morning," she captioned a shot of her face photoshopped onto that of one of the royal guards; the post has already been liked more than 3.1 million times.

Rounding out the top five most-liked posts about the worldwide event are Adele's selfie from her own royal wedding viewing party-complete with dramatic fascinator (just over 2.8 million likes); Millie Bobby Brown's tribute to Harry's late mother, Princess Diana (nearly 2.8 million likes); and wedding guest Troian Bellisario's post of her and husband Patrick J. Adams, Meghan's onscreen husband, at Windsor Castle (just under 2 million likes).
