This upcoming year bears plenty of exciting endeavors for expectant parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and the pair has already hit the ground running with their first royal engagement of 2019. Earlier Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Birkenhead, Merseyside, where (much to our satisfaction) Meghan reportedly shared new information regarding her due date.
While clad in a red Sentaler coat, matching pumps, and a purple dress from Aritzia, the pregnant royal mingled with members of the crowd. And as several royal reporters in attendance noted, she opened up to two lucky bystanders regarding her future child's birth. Mark your calendars and stock up on baby gifts-Meghan revealed she'll be having a baby in April. ITV News royal editor Chris Ship posted the exciting news on Twitter, writing, "For those who want to know about these things: Meghan told one lady in the crowd that she is six months pregnant and another woman that her due date is around April 👶."
Kensington Palace revealed last October that the mother-to-be was set to give birth in the spring of 2019, so Meghan's revelation gives us long-awaited specifics regarding the newest addition to the royal family.
As for the baby's sex, Meghan also admitted that she "wants it to be a surprise," per royal correspondent Rebecca English.
According to People, the future parents' birth plan diverges greatly from Kate Middleton and Prince William's. While Kate turned to the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital for her three deliveries, Meghan has reportedly been eyeing Frimley Park. Located only 15 minutes away from the couple's future Frogmore Cottage home, the Surrey hospital is also where Sophie, Countess of Wessex, gave birth to her children.

Cheers to the 37-year-old royal for keeping it real when it comes to her pregnancy, and here's hoping she lets even more baby info slip (i.e name ideas) in her third trimester.
